Assignment repository

Switch to admin mode if not there already.

Select 'Program Management' from Admin role selection pull down menu next to the company logo on top-left corner.

Update assignment repository for the subject

All assignments uploaded do not become available to learners until they get published for the specific course.

  1. Click ‘Subject’ from side menu.
  2. Select the subject.
  3. Click ‘Assignment Repository’ from the menu.
  4. Upload content as prompted by the page.

Please remember assignments uploaded need to be published or activated for the course before they can be accessed by the learners.

Delete assignments from the repository

If an assignment has been published for a course, it cannot be deleted from the repository; it can be made obsolete so that it cannot be published for any course in future. You can cancel an assignment which has been published for a course by accessing the course and using the ‘Assignment’ menu there.

  1. Click ‘Subject’ from side menu.
  2. Select the subject.
  3. Click ‘Assignment Repository’ from the menu.
  4. Select the assignment and click ‘Delete’ button. If deletion is not possible for the reason given above, then select the assignment and click ‘Edit’ button, change status to ‘Obsolete’ and save.

Publish or activate an assignment for a course

An assignment can be published or activated for a course from the subject end or from the course end. If you want to proceed from the subject end, then follow the steps mentioned below. If you want to know how to do it from the course end, then see this page. Both the methods lead to the same end-result.

  1. Click ‘Subject’ from side menu.
  2. Select the subject.
  3. Click ‘Assignment Repository’ from the menu.
  4. List of previously uploaded assignment files appear.
  5. Click ‘Publish’ link for the assignment that you want to publish.
  6. A new window will ask you to select a course for which this assignment will be published or activated. Only those courses are displayed which are live and which use the the same subject that the assignment belongs to.
  7. Select a course in which the assignment is to be published or activated. Specify other properties and click ‘Publish’ button.
